America's Christmas Prayer
Our children are dying, their young one's are crying
There's nothing we can do
The President sits upon his throne
Ruling his Country, his country alone
Ignoring the people, the Church and its steeple
And all of the Nation's too
Dear God I ask, I beg if you're there
Please hear my Christmas prayer
Bring all our loved ones, please bring them home
Mother and Father, sons and daughters
Friends and relatives too
We're in a war, that no one can win
Why, dear God - did it begin?
Why did he start this? How can he be ...
This stupid, foolish -- Hitler wannabee
Dear God is America really the land of the free?
Do we live in a Democracy?
Do our votes really count?
If they do, to what amount?
It's sad to think it, it cannot be true ...
Does Mr. President think that he's You?
Does his Mother and Father turn and cry?
Knowing their son, to this nation he lied
All of our allies and all of our friends
Shake their heads and try to pretend
It's all a nightmare an American disgrace
Sad to be a part of the human race ...
Dear God is America really free?
Do we live in a democracy?
Do our votes really count?
If they do, to what amount?
It's sad to think it, it cannot be true ...
Does Mr. President think that he's You?
Dear God ... does Mr. President think that he's you?
