BEWARE Ebay - Stay away!
Celebs and their representatives are weeding out unauthorized photos, fake autographs and other memorabilia being auctioned and sold on Ebay. They are also targeting items with celeb names (looking like endorsements) being paid for by unsuspecting buyers and never being shipped.
"Money is being taken and made. The poor Buyer is left out in the cold. Either the item is never shipped or it is shipped but it is a fake and not worth anything." says an Actor's representative.
There are various lawsuits pending agianst Ebay and current sellers. "But it takes time. And by the time it does get to Court ... the seller has changed their name(s) or just disappeared with the money. The buyers and fans are disappointed and left with nothing."
Ebay has been contacted regarding various sellers but refuses to have the Sellers removed. "Ebay makes money for each item sold. It's a matter of profitability over honesty, integrity and profitability."
