adage, "Handsome is as handsome does." This saying appears in J.R.R.
Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings" and in Herman Melville's "Billy
Budd," and can be traced as far back as the 14th Century.
TV/Movie personality Tom Hanks - perhaps - should stick to acting. He loses/gains fans by his opinions of current events.
Unlike most Americans - Tom has enough money saved to "weather" unemployment. Tom has food on his table. Tom can afford to pay high taxes. Tom doesn't have to worry about paying utility bills late or feeding your family macaroni and cheese on a daily bases.
Tom, when he chooses - has a job.
Yes - stupid is as stupid does.
