In your face - UPS lies - takes money - does NOT deliver!
UPS lies! Takes money but knows it won't deliver!

cc: to Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, blogs ...
Anyone who paid for and shipped items on Monday, 12/28/09 via UPS 3-Day - be advised, your item won't be delivered til 1/4/09.
UPS closes 12/31 EARLY. They are CLOSED ALL DAY New Year's Day. And they only ship on week days.
They know this. They knew this. They took your money but did NOT tell you this.
It would have been more efficient and timely to send via USPS, as they deliver on Saturdays.
UPS ripped everybody off.
For 2010 - BE SAFE - ship with only the honest - FEDEX and USPS.
Happy 2010.

Another idiot - Evelyn Shelburn in Los Angeles - go figure!
An idiot, dolt, or dullard is a mentally deficient person, or someone who acts in a self-defeating or significantly counterproductive way. More humorous synonyms of the term include addlehead, blockhead, bonehead, deadhead, dimwit, dodo, dope, dummy, dunderhead, nincompoop, ninny, nitwit, numbskull, stupidhead, thickhead, and twit, among many others. Archaically the word mome has also been used. The synonymous terms moron, imbecile, and cretin have all gained specialized meanings in modern times. An idiot is said to be idiotic, and to suffer from idiocy. An idiot differs from a fool (who is unwise) and an ignoramus (who is uneducated), neither of which refer to someone with low intelligence. A dunce is an idiot who is specifically incapable of learning; an oaf is someone who is both idiotic and clumsy.
People need to read before they buy. Know what you are buying before you commit money.
That statements seems logical on its face.
However, there are those who buy blindly - without reading and then bitch and complain later.
Another such fool is below. She purchases a DVD - it states "Sleeve and photo label." She later states it has no case. It was bootleg.
A public domain film cannot be bootleg. Any entrepreneur can re-master it, re-release it, re-market it AND remake it.
Fools are born everyday. Some fools were born long ago. The following is a little of both.

Walgreens in Cedar Park - "No way Jose!"
Don't go! Don't shop! One stop, one shop - no way!
Walgreens ~ 1495 Cypress Creek Rd ~ Cedar Park, TX 78613-3602On more than 3 occasions, the SAME day you receive email from Walgreens re: their Sunday ad, they are out-of-stock.
The same day you glance at Walgreens Sunday color ads - out of stock.
Cashiers are clueless. "Our next delivery is Tuesday!"
Then why advertise? Why should customers go for bogus ads? YOU tell me.
You've wasted your time, your gas - and you leave pissed off.
And not ONE employee seems to care.
I email Corporate, General Managers and then - the Manager of the Store tells me to tell him first. I told him: "I've told all your employees. They should tell you. Should I seek you out to let you know you are in-efficient?"
Mind boggling.
SAD, too.
Overall, Walgreens is an iconic institution - however, this particular location is bringing down the Walgreens name.
Shop at Randalls across the Street. 7/11 - also across the street may be a little higher in price, but at least they have the items in stock (and the store is a lot smaller).
Go figure.

7-11 Cedar Park TX - CAT FOOD CENTER! Hooray!
You need cat food late at night? You don't want to buy a 3.5 lb bag at Walgreens (closes now nightly at 10pm) or pay $2.49 for a box of Alley Cat cat food in a box across the street?
GO to 7-11 (corner of Cypress Creek and S. Lakeline Blvd.) 1515 Cypress Creek Rd, Cedar Park, TX 78613-3607 -- (512) 258-7292 -- three different flavors of box cat food for only $2.19 plus tax.
The best prices for name brand bread, chips ... and the friendliest employees (as opposed to the rude ones at Tiger Mart "graveyard" shift) across the street.
Highly recommended!

Paypal guilty of misrepresentation / Ebay guilty of greed & advarice
EBay holiday outlook disappoints, shares down
EBay Paypal - Anti-trust lawsuits still on the horizon - sellers REVOLT!
By Alexandria Sage
SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - EBay Inc (EBAY.O) forecast results for the fourth quarter at the low end of Wall Street estimates, disappointing investors who were hoping for a substantial turnaround for the holidays, and its shares down 5 percent.
But the global e-commerce and payments company's fourth-quarter outlook only included a partial contribution from Skype, the fast-growing Web telephone unit it plans to sell in coming weeks. Analysts said that might have made its fourth-quarter forecast appear lackluster to investors.
Investors had warmed to the idea of a comeback by eBay, which is overhauling its main marketplaces division. Since January, the company's stock had shot up 79 percent after years of languishing.
But its forecast on Wednesday put a dent in that confidence, even though executives and analysts highlighted improvements such as more fixed price sales, which helped increase volume on eBay.
"The economy we see stable, and we're cautiously optimistic about consumer spending going into the holiday," said Chief Executive John Donahoe. "What is more important from our standpoint is we actually see some progress on our turnaround metrics."
For the fourth quarter, eBay sees adjusted earnings to range between 38 cents to 40 cents per share. Wall Street had been expecting 40 cents per share. It expects fourth-quarter revenues of between $2.2 billion and $2.3 billion. Wall Street's estimate is for $2.57 billion, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.
However, executives said that if Skype's full contribution were to be factored in, on an apples-to-apples basis, its holiday quarter projection called for revenue growth of 11 to 16 percent.
From the year-ago revenue figure, that translates roughly into revenue of $2.35 billion to $2.45 billion -- still short of Wall Street's average estimate.
RBC Capital's Stephen Ju estimates Skype yields $200 million of revenue a quarter.
"EBay has a long history of providing very conservative guidance and then breaking it, but people were hoping for evidence of much more recovery," said Bernstein Research's Jeffrey Lindsay.
WAGING A WAR
Skype aside, EBay faces a fierce price war among retailers on- and off-line during the holidays. Wal-Mart Stores Inc (WMT.N) pledged on Wednesday "hundreds of millions of dollars" in price cuts each week, pressuring shares in its rivals from Amazon.com Inc (AMZN.O) to Safeway Inc (SWY.N).
But Donahoe argued the company's decision to focus on the secondary market, with sellers offering out-of-season goods at a discount, would help differentiate it this holiday.
Executives, as well as analysts, pointed to a 7 percent increase in gross merchandise volume -- measuring the dollar amount of all goods sold on eBay -- that was stronger than expected.
While the overall marketplaces unit saw a one percent revenue decline in the quarter, that was a vast improvement over the prior quarter, when it fell 14 percent.

Paypal determines the true winner of disputes on Ebay and sites which paypal is used. Regardless of Paypal's own rules, in writing, paypal can determine when and if a seller is reimbursed after a dispute.
Paypal 76% of the time sides with the buyer.
Logically, there must be sellers in order for buyers to buy.
But buyers know the tricks. DISPUTE. The monetary payment is frozen in the seller acount. The buyer can return item and be refunded. The buyer can also enter a bogus tracking number and be refunded.
Paypal disregards their own terms and deadlines. The allow the buyer extra days to come up with a tracking number. They allow even more days to verify the mostly bogus tracking numbers.
Tracking numbers are given by the USP and can instantly be retrieved via www.usps.com in approximately 3 seconds. Paypal allows an extra 10 days for that.
"There are hopes that the seller will just say forget it and close case."
When that happens, buyer gets a free-be. Seller is still charged the fee and the real MONEY winner is PAYPAL. The government has shown sporadic interest in investigation - but now more and more disgruntled (and rightly so) sellers are lobbying their representatives in the Senate and Congress and change is forthcoming.
"Ebay is failing. It is like a 'buy now' aisle at the convenient store." There are also other online payment brokers.
"Greed and avarice, fraud and misrepresentation will take them both down. It is about time. They are the Acorn of the internet!"

I indicated I needed it ASAP and I will pay the Priority mail fee. He stated "We only go to the post office once a week. It will go out today." Customer Service MISSING at Exxon Tigermart 1801 S. Lakeline Blvd. Cedar Park TX
Lawsuits ensue as Exxon Tigermart 1801 S. Lakeline Blvd. Cedar Park, TX continue to bait & switch. Credit card fraud charges pending.
While past and present customers rally and voice their complaints ... allegations continue. Receipts are produced ... employees rudely disregard ...
If Exxon Tigermart (especially in Cedar Park; 1801 S. Lakeline Blvd.) is going to bait and switch (one price on the shelf) BUT it rings up considerably higher ... with no apologies forthcoming ... do they realize they are breaking the law? Do they realize they can lose their retailer license? Do they realize they can go to jail?
And when reimbursing - they may give you the "change" in cash - but why scan your debit or credit card? WHY - it charges you again, the full price.
Exxon ignores customer complaints. The D.A. does not!

Peter Finch, Michael York, Olivia Hussey, Sally Kellerman LOST HORIZON
$5.99 -- contact: damienrecords@gmail.com
Pay by paypal ...
Lost Horizon is a 1973 musical film directed by Charles Jarrott and starring Peter Finch, John Gielgud, Liv Ullmann, Michael York, Sally Kellerman, Bobby Van, George Kennedy, Olivia Hussey, James Shigeta and Charles Boyer.
The film is a remake of Frank Capra's film of the same name, with screenplay by Larry Kramer. Both films are based on James Hilton's novel. However, the 1973 version was a critical and commercial failure. It is considered one of the last in a string of box office musical failures which came in the wake of the success of The Sound of Music.[
This version is much closer to the 1937 film than to the original James Hilton novel. It tells the story of a group of travellers whose airplane is hijacked while fleeing a bloody revolution.
The airplane crash lands in and unexplored area of the Himalayas, where the party is rescued and taken to the lamasery of Shangri-La. Miraculously, Shangri-La, sheltered by mountains on all sides, is a temperate paradise amid the land of snows. Perfect health is the norm, and inhabitants live to very old ages while maintaining a youthful appearance.
The newcomers quickly adjust to life in Shangri-La, especially Richard Conway (Peter Finch), the group's leader. He meets and falls in love with Catherine (Liv Ullmann), a school teacher. Sally Hughes (Sally Kellerman), a drug-addicted Newsweek photographer is suicidal at first, but begins counselling with lamas Chang (John Gielgud) and To Len (James Shigeta) and discovers a new lease on life. Sam Cornelius (George Kennedy) discovers gold, but Sally convinces him to use his engineering skills to bring better irrigation to the famers of Shangri-La instead of attempting to smuggle the gold out. Harry Lovett (Bobby Van) is a third-rate comic and song and dance man who discovers he has a flair for working with the children of Shangri-La.
Everyone is content to stay except Conway's younger brother, George (Michael York). George has fallen in love with Maria (Olivia Hussey), a dancer, and wants to take her with him when he leaves. Chang warns Richard that Maria came to Shangri-La over eighty years before, at the age of twenty. If she were to leave the valley she would quickly revert to her actual age.
Richard is summoned to meet the High Lama (Charles Boyer), who informs him that the he was brought there for a reason, to take over the leadership of the community when he himself dies. However, the night that the High Lama dies, George and Maria tell Richard that everything the High Lama and Chang have said is a lie, and convince him to leave with them immediately.
Richard is still in shock from the High Lama's death, and leaves without even saying goodbye to Catherine. Not long after their departure Maria suddenly ages and dies, and George falls to his death down an icy ravine. Richard struggles on alone, ending up in a hospital bed in the Himalayan foothills. He runs away, back to the mountains, and miraculously finds the portal to Shangri-La once more.
Lost Horizon has never been officially released on VHS or DVD in the U.S. THIS DVD is the European release (and is not presently owned by an American releasing company) in English; Widescreen; complete & un-cut. American copyright law / "The Berne Act" clearly states: films unreleased in the United States, including original version of films altered and/or edited for release in the United States, are not protected by American copyright; thus, they are considered public domain. If this title should become available domestically , this European version will be withdrawn from our roster.
This special edition reinstates several songs that had been cut from the film during its original theatrical release. Though these missing sequences were found in the Columbia vaults, there are still scenes (among them the infamous “fertility dance”) that are considered lost forever.
Peter Finch best summed up the Lost Horizon experience when, at the end of the film, his character awakens in the hospital and explains that, “I don’t know whether I’ve been mad and am now sane, or sane for a time and now mad again.”
He had it right. Lost Horizon is an undeniably insane experience that should not be missed.

SHUT-UP "media whore" Al Sharpton - LOUDer doesn't make it true!
BEING A LOUD MOUTH and talking loud and shouting and stomping your feet doesn't make what you are saying true!
Remember: Big-mouth AL SHARPTON as "adviser" to "lying rape victim!"
After hearing evidence, a grand jury concluded in October 1988 that Tawana Brawley had not been the victim of a forcible sexual assault and that she herself may have created the appearance of an attack.
The New York prosecutor whom Brawley accused as one of her alleged assailants successfully sued Brawley and her three advisers for defamation.
Brawley initially received considerable support from the African-American community. Some scholars suggested that Brawley was victimized by biased reporting that adhered to racial stereotypes.
The mainstream media's coverage drew heated criticism from the African-American press and leaders for its treatment of the teenager.
The outcome of the grand jury decreased support for Brawley and her advisers. Brawley's family has maintained that the allegations were true.
NOW - it's about Michael Jackson.
The almost bankrupt California taxpayers have to dole out money for the memorial.
Michael was a talented pop stars of the 1970s and 1980s. He hasn't had a hit in almost 20 years. He was from the Madonna, Billy Idol, Duran Duran MTV generation. MTV was just starting and it helped create the aforementioned.
Madonna kept re-inventing herself.
Michael kept getting involved with allegations of child molestation, pedophilia, etc. He settled out of court for millions on one case. Acquitted on others.
Like many stars - he has a personal life.
He DID not walk on water.
He was a pop star and will be remembered in his early years for being just that.
Factually and historically, like O.J. Simpson, he was accused of and acquitted of crimes in a legal Court with a judge and jury. Regardless of the outcome, we was accused.
That will play a part in his history and in the memory of Michael since the onset of his career.
For good or bad - that fact and that truth shall remain.
Dorothy Gish "Gretchen the Greenhorn" (1916) - "a good little actioner"
Very few Dorothy Gish films survive - in their entirety.
www.archive.org has a delightful trailer for "Clothes Make The Pirate."
Kodak/Rochester restored the 1926 "Nell Gwynn."
And the hour-long 1916 opus "Gretchen The Greenhorn" on DVD is out with an original score by Brian Pinette.
"Miss Gish displays nuance and pathos and it utterly charming in this fast paced immigrant to America - romantic - actioner" says L. Sinclair of NYC News.

Sad, disfigured Michael Jackson?
Michael Jackson - JUST a pop-star - SAD but true
He hasn't had a hit in decades.
He was a phenom in his time.
I followed his career and still have his 45rpms from I'll Be There to Ben ... I videotaped from TV Thriller and Beat It on MTV. I taped Madonna and Billy Idol, too.
I knew and remember him when he was black.
Before he wanted to be Diana Ross and Elizabeth Taylor.
I remember him before he was white.
Before he had his lips and nose fixed.
He made headlines when he had the "tatoo" - permanent ink eyeliner placed on his eye.
I still have those clippings.
That does not diminish him as a gifted performer.
It is just a fact.
MTV was new. And Michael Jackson become "newer" and whiter and plastic surgery ridden as he released every music video.
MTV was also a phenomenon. It helped create stars. The truly talented survived.
They re-invented themselves.
Michael Jackson was a half century old.
No recent releases. No current tunes on the radio.
His record/CD sales were very low.
Now, he passed away and is at peace.
His life was troubled.
He was accused on being a pedophile, a child molester. He settled out of Court and paid millions for one accusation.
The others - he was acquitted.
He had his time and place.
He will be remembered as many a pop star will be.
He was NOT the 2nd coming of Christ.
He did NOT solve world-hunger nor peace.
He unsuccessfully tried to re-invent himself.
He was past the middle-aged mark.
Like anyone, his best could have been ... yet to be ... tomorrow - we will never know.
His accolades cannot and should not be erased.
Nor should they be embellished.
Sad to see him go.
In reality - for those of us who were witness to his rising star - it simply reminds us of our own mortality.
Life is precious. Not to be wasted or squandered.
Toward the end or perhaps starting in his mid-30s, Jackson started to believe his own hype.
HE PROCLAIMED HIMSELF the "King of Pop" - not the press, not his peers.
He was NOT We Are The World, I am the World -
he was a talented man on stage.
Off stage - only God truly knows.
Maybe he was a child abuser - maybe he was a gay closet case ...
but he had talent. In his time and place - he had talent.
Like the VERY stars HE himself professed to idolizing ... from Fred Astaire to Elizabeth Taylor and the list goes on - they ALL will be remembered ...
for in their time and place - thanks to video, film, records ...
they will always have a place in entertainment history.
THAT IS FACT.
Nothing more, nothing less.
The cycle and circle of life -
times marches on.
And unless you keep up with the beat, you will be left behind.
I think the last decade - Jackson was left behind. Like Norman Desmond in "Sunset Blvd." ....

Dallas Hill, Warner Roberts = OUT! Brian Pinette IN!
L. Sinclair / NYC News --
I had the privilege of viewing a rough edit of "I'm Frightened Julie Andrews, I'm Frightened" written, produced, directed and NOW co-starring Brian Pinette. I also had the displeasure of viewing portions of the previous version with Dallas Hill and Warner Roberts.
It is quite apparent who is the professional actor and who is the Texas wannabee.
Quick cuts, poignant scenes, crisp dialogue and classic inserts with legendary stars ... it is a marvel this is the brainchild of one man.
When totally completed and released - this film cannot help but light a fire under America and "true Americans." Pure REAL LIFE patriotic magic.
It is spell-binding.

Only in America - Dallas Hill Quits Movie! Warner Roberts Fired!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Thursday, June 18, 2009
RE: Former Houston 1970s TV personality Warner Roberts "fired" from film "I'm Frightened Julie Andrews, I'm Frightened"
"I would like to say it was creative differences. However, about 10 minutes after we completed shooting the film, Warner said she was unaware of the direction of the script and had she known ..."
"She said this in front of the cast. I could not find words. I thought later that she was speaking the lines, she had read the script ... what part of it didn't she understand?" queries Brian, the writer, producer and director. "I've worked with Coleen Gray, Dawn Wells to Lillian Gish and this has never happened before. It boggles my mind!"
Brian's public relations manager indicates "It might have been the Texas heat. Warner is quite elderly and perhaps should retire gracefully."
"The film is superb. It was instantly re-scripted and better than before." smiles Brian.
"It's actually a love story and tribute to our beloved men and women, Moms and Dads, brothers and sisters, Aunts and Uncles, friends and neighbours, nieces and nephews ... all our true American Heroes ... our soldiers who are fighting and dying for freedom ..." sighs Brian. "These are actually part of the lines Warner objected to. She said them on camera and then a few minutes later ... it really saddens me."
"I'm not sure if Warner is anti-American soldiers or what." continues Brian. "I am honestly confused. They are lines in a movie and she said she was an actress. I guess since her last major role was over 30 years ago, perhaps she forgot."
"There is wisdom, true wisdom in knowing what you can and cannot do. When to stay and when to gracefully bow out. I hope when I get that old, I remember these words."
Brian smiles and added, "Otherwise, shoot me!"

"It was for the best." begins Brian. "They both had to use cue cards. They both cared about how they looked rather than the content of the film." begins Brian.
"I still believe it was highly odd that Warner said she didn't know the direction of the film. As I said, the first shoot had to be canceled because the cue cards I made were too small. The 2nd shoot was June 16th. The cards were LARGER and well, it ended as stated before. Warner insisted she didn't know where the film was headed. She could read the cards, but I guess she really didn't understand them. I mean - they were in English. And it was basically the same script we shot before and the same one she received in the mail. I guess she just didn't understand ... That's all I can think." says Brian.
"I definitely want to be shot when I get to be their age ... having to rely on cue cards and then not remembering what they said right after you said them." Brian goes on. "The film is complete with both of them. We even did a public service spot where say they, Hello, I'm Warner Roberts and I'm Dallas Hill, but somehow they got cold feet."
Prior to "firing" Roberts, Brian sent out snippets of the film to his movie critic friends in NYC. After getting word of what happened, some went on to say: "They weren't living in New York on 9/11. They weren't here. We were. Brian was here. He is a New Yorker. Unless you saw and witnessed America under attack, you don't love or care for America or really understand what was happening. Maybe that's what this Dallas and Warner are all about. Maybe they just don't care."
"I'm glad it worked this way." one critic said. "I saw them in 15 minutes of footage. Brian needs professional actresses, not community theatre players of 40 years ago. The script is too good. They were awful. Brian was seeing them through the eyes of love. If he had released it with them, his vision would have been destroyed with them in the lead. I would have roasted them alive!"
"I'm not saying they are un-American, anti-American soldiers or anti-Constitution, but I cannot help but wonder." sighs Brian. "I'm at peace though. The film on every level is superb. I almost threw out the baby with the bath water. Thankfully, I had friends who reminded me just to throw out the dirty liquid." smiles Brian.

Would Dr. Tiller have ABORTED Baby Jesus?
Late term abortionist, BABY KILLER - Dr. Tiller was murdered.
The psycho who did this should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
In America, MURDER IS MURDER.
Yet, some Americans turn their heads when it comes to murdering late-term fetuses.
Or perhaps, those who turn their head want to ignore that these late term fetuses are actual "formed" babies, human beings.
Just like those who say "More Troops are needed here or there ..."
Other wars, "Soldiers marched off to war."
Soldiers, individual human beings.
Yet it is easier to say troops, like it is to say a gaggle of geese.
People desensitize themselves to the evident truth supported by facts.
Late term fetuses are formed babies. Anatomically, factually. Check with the AMA. They are children with feelings and hearts and souls.
Troops are a group of soldiers - young men and women ... people with hearts and souls.
Only in America, where it is supposed to be "justice and truth for all."
Or is it truth and justice for all when it is politically correct and suits an agenda?

Walgreens - TEXAS - BAIT and SWITCH TIME, Again
Walgreens is at it again.
LARGE orange SALE SIGNS ... VERY NICE PRICES.
Do not LEAVE store until you triple check your receipt. Better yet, watch the cashier. She is not paying attention to anything except her watch to know when she can have her next cigaret break.
Prices are NOT ringing up as per LARGE tag ... they are ringing up at original prices.
TWICE in three visits ... in three days.
Prior to that, four times in five visits during one week.
EMPLOYEES are NOT over-worked as customers have dwindled for this reason and secondly, the economy.
Walgreens advertises on TV to get customers.
Their employees are in the kitchen and miss the advertisement.
Employees are clueless.
Eventually, jobless for not stocking properly, not paying attention to what is ringing up and the actual price of the item ...
Walgreens just doesn't care anymore.
I hate to say it --- SHOP WAL-MART.
Their prices beat Walgreens ANY DAY or NIGHT. Most are open 24 hours.
Walgreens is clueless and is being left behind!

HOT MOVE SALE owned by Al-Qaeda? Hamas?
Obama and his administration is correct. Terrorism on the Internet is the next new threat. BEWARE. It is ALIVE and doing very well in Boca Raton, FLORIDA.
In my opinion, it could easily come from bank fraud, credit card fraud, theft of identification whereby wiping out your entire bank account, little by little or all at once without you knowing.
In my opinion - BEWARE of www.hotmoviesale.com.
